Artis House Studio wants everyone to be able to browse our website and enjoy our studio. We're committed to making both as welcoming and accessible as we can.
1Our commitment
- We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines across artishouse.ca and to keep improving as we grow.
- Accessibility is an ongoing effort, we review new pages and features with it in mind.
2On our website
- We use clear headings, readable type, and meaningful colour contrast.
- Images carry descriptive text where they convey information.
- The site is designed to work across phones, tablets, and desktops, and with the browser's own zoom and text-size tools.
3At the studio
- Every session is led one-on-one, and our team is glad to adapt the pace or setup to suit you.
- If you have specific access needs, mobility, sensory, or otherwise, please tell us when you book or email ahead, and we'll do our best to accommodate them.
4Tell us how we're doing
- If you run into a barrier on our site or have trouble taking part in a session, we want to hear about it and put it right.
- Contact us and we'll respond as quickly as we can, and offer the information or help you need in another format if that's easier.
