✦ Grad celebrations in Calgary
Mark it with something
they can keep.
A grad is one of the few occasions where a photo isn't quite enough. Book the studio for the group, spend an afternoon making something, and everyone leaves with an object that dates itself to exactly this year.

Why it suits a grad
It gives the group something to do together.
Grad celebrations are often the last time a particular group of people is in one room. A shared activity beats a restaurant booking for making that count.
01
Everyone leaves with the year in an object
A candle, a rug, a painted piece, dated to the year they finished. It ends up on a shelf in a first apartment, which is more than can be said for most grad gifts.
02
It works without alcohol
Most grad groups are under Alberta's legal drinking age, and this is built to work completely without a bar. Non-alcoholic drinks are available throughout and nobody feels like they're at a watered-down version of an adult party.
03
Parents can come, or not
It scales either way. Some groups book it as a students-only afternoon; others make it a family celebration with parents and grandparents at the benches too.
04
It's photogenic without being staged
Grad photos are usually stiff. Photos of the same people covered in paint, mid-project, are the ones that get kept.
05
Nobody's organising on the day
Our artisans run the room start to finish, so whoever's parent volunteered to host gets to sit down and enjoy it.
06
It's a fixed, known cost
Quoted per guest before you commit, so a grad committee or a parent group knows exactly what they're collecting.

The numbers
From $85 per guest.
The Grad Celebration is priced per guest and covers the experience, shareable catering and the studio. A plain private session without catering is less, My Collection is the lowest per-guest option we run.
Splitting the cost
Grad groups almost always split the bill across families, so the number that matters is the per-guest one. It's fixed in your quote before you commit, which makes it straightforward to collect.
No minimum spend and no room-rental fee, so the total scales cleanly with the headcount.

Grad questions
How much is a grad party in Calgary?
The Grad Celebration package starts at $85 per guest and includes shareable catering. A private session without catering is less, crafts are charged at our group rate, 25% off the regular price.
How many guests can you take?
Private events are for 10 to 40 guests on a full studio buyout.
Is there alcohol involved?
Only for guests 18+ with photo ID, and nothing about the experience depends on it. Non-alcoholic drinks are available throughout. If it's an adults-only celebration and you want a bar, we have bar packages, but bar service is only for guests 18+ with photo ID, and under-18 guests enjoy non-alcoholic drinks.
Can parents come too?
Yes, and plenty do. It works as a students-only afternoon or as a family celebration with parents and grandparents at the benches. Tell us which when you enquire so we plan the right number of places.
What if the adults want a drink?
Our bar can run alongside an otherwise alcohol-free celebration, beer and wine up to premium spirits, hosted or on tickets, served only to the adults. Drinks come from us; if one particular bottle matters to the occasion, ask and we'll see whether we can allow it on corkage.
How long does it take?
Two to three hours including arrival, the experience and time to eat. Candle Craft and My Collection are the shorter options if there's a dinner or photos afterwards.
Does anyone need to be artistic?
No. Every experience is built for complete beginners and an artisan stays with the group throughout.
How far in advance should we book?
Three to six weeks, and weekends book up fastest. Grad season concentrates into a few weeks, so earlier is genuinely better for May and June.
Can you handle dietary requirements?
Yes, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options across the catering. Tell us about allergies specifically and we'll plan around them.
Where are you, and is there parking?
2713 14 St SW, Calgary. Ground floor, with street parking and a nearby lot.
