Private event questions.

It depends on your group size, the craft you choose and any food or bar you add. Crafts are charged at our group rate (25% off the regular price), and catering and hosted bar packages are priced per guest. Use the price estimator on our Private Events page for a ballpark based on current prices, then send an enquiry for an exact quote. Enquiring is free.

Per guest, across your final headcount. Prices are before 5% GST and a 20% gratuity, which is added automatically to private events. Your quote lists every line, so there are no surprises on the day.

Send an enquiry with your group size, date and what you have in mind. We reply within 24 hours with availability and a quote, and a 25% deposit locks in your date. Weekends book up fastest, so 3 to 6 weeks ahead is ideal, and catering needs at least 1 to 2 weeks.

Yes. A 25% deposit secures your date and is applied to your total. The rest, including the remaining gratuity, is settled at the studio on the day of your event, based on who actually attended. No payment is needed to enquire.

Private events are for groups of 10 to 40 guests. For fewer than 10, book a regular session on our Book page instead.

72 hours before your event. You can add guests until then, space allowing, and your final count is what we bill.

Private events follow our standard policy: change or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your event. Inside 48 hours we can’t refund, but we’ll turn what you’ve paid into a credit toward a future visit. Full details are on our Cancellation & Refund Policy page.

It depends on the craft. Candle Craft and My Collection take about 2 hours at the bench, so most events run around 3 hours with food and drinks. Tufted Threads and Lace Lab take about 4 hours, so plan for around 5 hours including a food break.

Birthdays, bachelorette and bachelor parties, corporate team building and staff socials, grads, holiday and Christmas parties, family celebrations, showers, and club or friend get-togethers. If your group wants to make something together, we’ll build an event around it.

Yes. Private events are a full studio buyout, so the space is yours alone: benches to make at, and room to set out food and drinks and relax.

Four crafts: Tufted Threads (rug tufting, about 4 hours), Lace Lab (fully custom shoes, about 4 hours), Candle Craft (scent blending and pouring, about 2 hours) and My Collection (painting pre-cast resin pieces, about 2 hours). Pick one for the whole group and we’ll match it to your occasion and timing.

Usually the group shares one craft so everyone’s on the same journey, which is part of what makes it social. If you’d like to split across crafts, ask us; depending on group size and timing we can sometimes arrange it.

No experience needed. Every craft is built for complete beginners, and our artisans stay with your group the whole time to guide each step.

Whatever they make: a tufted rug, a custom pair of shoes, a candle or a painted resin piece. If anything needs a little longer to set, we’ll tell you how and when to collect it, along with how to care for it.

Wear something you don’t mind getting a little paint, wax or fibre on, and closed-toe shoes. Aprons are provided.

Many of our crafts suit families and younger makers. Tell us the ages in your group when you enquire and we’ll recommend the right craft and pace. Bar service is for guests 18+ only.

Yes. You’re welcome to bring light decorations, a banner, balloons or place settings. Share your plans when you enquire so we can set up the space before your guests arrive.

Yes. Send us a playlist ahead of time, or we’ll set the studio’s own soundtrack.

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available across our catering. Tell us about allergies specifically and we’ll plan around them.

Talk to us about cake when you enquire and we’ll sort it out as part of your event.

Drinks come from our studio bar, from beer and wine up to premium spirits. Hosted bar packages are priced per guest by the hour, or you can buy drink tickets (one drink each, also sold in 4-packs) or run an open bar billed on what’s poured. Non-alcoholic drinks are always available. If one particular bottle matters to the occasion and we don’t pour it, ask us about corkage; it’s an exception for a special case, not a way to stock the bar.

A bar is optional and plenty of events run alcohol-free. Where alcohol is served it follows our liquor licence: guests must be 18+ and show valid photo ID before ordering. Grad parties are welcome; under-18 guests enjoy non-alcoholic drinks.

We’re at 2713 14 St SW, Calgary, on the ground floor, with street parking on 14 St and a lot at the rear.

The studio is on the ground floor. Let us know any accessibility needs when you enquire and we’ll make sure the space and setup work for everyone.

Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your start time. Each guest signs a quick digital waiver on arrival. If someone’s running behind, we’ll get them caught up.
