Welcome to Artis House Studio! By participating in any of our workshops, events, or services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1General
- 1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services provided by Artis House Studio ("the Studio," "we," "us," "our") to any individual or entity ("you," "your").
- 1.2. By engaging in any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our services.
2Booking and Payments
- 2.1. All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of down payment.
- 2.2. Down payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these Terms.
- 2.3. Rescheduling of booked services is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice. Any changes made within 48 hours of the scheduled service are at the sole discretion of the Studio.
3Participation and Conduct
- 3.1. You agree to follow all instructions provided by our staff and artisans during any activity at the Studio.
- 3.2. We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone we believe is not complying with our instructions or behaving in a manner that is disruptive or unsafe.
4Health and Safety
- 4.1. Your safety is of paramount importance to us. However, you acknowledge that participating in our workshops and activities may involve the use of potentially hazardous materials and tools.
- 4.2. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation in our services, including, but not limited to, the risk of injury, illness, or death.
5Indemnity
- 5.1. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Artis House Studio, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your participation in our services.
- 5.2. This indemnification applies regardless of whether the claims arise from the negligence of the Studio or its employees or any other party.
6Limitation of Liability
- 6.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artis House Studio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in our services.
- 6.2. Our total liability to you for any damages, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the services.
7Use of Studio Equipment and Materials
- 7.1. All equipment and materials provided by the Studio are to be used solely for the purposes of the workshop or activity for which they are intended.
- 7.2. You agree to use all equipment and materials responsibly and to follow any guidelines provided by the Studio.
8Personal Belongings
- 8.1. The Studio is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings during your time at the Studio.
- 8.2. You are advised to keep valuable items with you at all times.
9Photography and Media
- 9.1. The Studio may take photographs or videos during workshops and events for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image in such materials.
- 9.2. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of our staff before the start of the workshop or event.
10Governing Law

- 0.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta.

- 0.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
11Severability
- 1
- 1.1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
12Amendments
- 1
- 2.1. The Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying you directly.
