Founded by Victor and Cathy Caracciolo, who immigrated from Italy in 1961, Mercato grew from a beloved neighbourhood grocery store into one of Calgary’s most iconic Italian dining destinations. For over 46 years, Mercato has been known for its fresh handmade dishes, warm hospitality, and unwavering commitment to quality.
